Description

A very fine, heavy gauge, solid silver Snuff Box. Lovely simple design with no engravings, rectangular in shape with curved edges. The Interior of the box is gilt and bares the hallmarks for London 1890 and the maker's marks for George Wilkinson & Edward Hollins.(These are clearly visible on the inside of the lid and also just under the lip of the lid). A rare item, the maker had only a very short production period of 3 years. The condition of the box is good with a few small scratches and dents, hardly visible and mentioned for accuracy. The lid is hinged and closes perfectly. (see photos).

Measurements: 44.35mm x 29.66 mm approx

Weight: 31.79g approx.
