Pretty Antique Solid Silver Comport 1936

1920 - 1940
Description

A lovely example of a solid sterling silver comport/dish.

Clearly hallmarked on the inside for Birmingham 1936, with the maker's mark of Adie Bros Ltd.

It has a pierced rim with a gently fluted bowl standing securely upon a circular central pedestal base.

There are a small number of light abrasion marks to the inside of the bowl. Other than that, the silver is in excellent condition.

Weight: 82g

Diameter: 11cm

Height: 5cm.
