Antique George III Solid Silver Salt Spoon - 1805

Description

A good quality solid sterling silver salt spoon.

Very clearly hallmarked for Edinburgh 1805 with the maker's mark of William Fillan & Co, this spoon is in very good condition, especially given that it was made during the reign of George III. It is in a classic fiddle shape with shell pattern. The bowl has some gilding, although it is pitted.
