Boxed Set of Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Stag Menu Holders 1909

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an marvellous boxed set of four solid sterling silver menu or place holders.

They are in the classic two disc style and decorated to the front with an engraving of a stag. Clearly hallmarked on the base of the back with the assay mark for Chester 1909 and the maker's mark of Sampson Morden & Co Ltd. The silver is in an excellent, used condition. The box has a few wear marks to the outside and is in good condition within.

Silver weight: 109g

Height: 2.7cm

Diameter: 2.8cm.
