M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The fixed cover tops each with twin entwined serpent handles and fluted detailing . Raised upon fluted square socle bases with twin steps and concave corners, and with fluted and wreath-cast decoration .

Adjustable height bulb-stems with acorn finial shade holders.
Excellent colour ,patina and quality , possibly by the Ferdinand Barbedienne Foundry ,Paris, but unmarked or signed.
Executed in the style and manner of the C18th French sculptor Claude-Michel Clodion (1738-1814)

Minor rubbing to handles.
Good quality period-style fittings , can be re-wired to clients specification.
