Large Antique Silver Photograph Frame 1919

1900 - 1920
Description

An elegant solid sterling silver and oak picture/photograph frame.

Clearly hallmarked on the side for Birmingham 1919, with the maker's mark of A & J Zimmerman.

It is not in perfect condition - there has been a repair to the strut which leaves it looking slightly wonky, although the frame stands straight. There are also a couple of creases to the silver on the sides of the frame.

Nonetheless, it is an attractive piece of silver, which is showing a little of it's history.

Width: 20cm.

Photo aperture: 19.5cm x 14.5cm.
