This is a good quality solid sterling silver Christening gift set made by Edinburgh silversmiths, Hamilton & Inches.
It is clearly hallmarked on all three parts for Edinburgh 1926 and in the original box.
The spoon and fork have light abrasions to the surface. They carry no inscriptions. The spoon is 14.5cm in length and the fork, 14cm.
The overall silver weight is approximately 70g.
There is a small set of italicised initials on the napkin ring.
The box is red with a simple gold line for decoration and is quite worn in places. The interior, however, is in good condition, as can be seen from the photographs.
Post and packaging are free within the UK via Royal Mail special delivery. Overseas buyers please e-mail for postage costs. Thank you.
