Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Garniture of 3 Vases - 1899 - Scenes

Description

This is an absolutely gorgeous garniture of 3 Victorian antique hallmarked solid sterling silver vases - the two smaller ones measuring 6 1/2" (16.5 cms) tall and the taller one 7 1/4" (18.5 cms) tall.

Each one is hallmarked for London 1899 and shows the silversmiths mark for John & Frank Pairpoint.

They have matching scenes of a gentleman playing music to a lady with a dog in the foreground above a decoration of flowers and birds.

There are no inscriptions or monograms and they all have lion head mounted handles on the sides.

All three vases are identical apart from the larger one which has a slightly different base.

They weigh a total of 1285 grams and all have weighted bases.

It's very unusual to find a set of this age in such beautiful condition.
