Rare Georgian Newcastle Solid Silver Cream Jug by D. Langlands

Description

Antique, rare, solid silver NEWCASTLE cream jug by DOROTHY LANGLANDS. Nice detail to top of handle and Base of jug above the feet. Total weight of silver is 125.7gms and measuring 14cms across the handle, 8.5cms from lip to feet. Date letter is worn, although the maker finished in 1813. see photos, engraving also worn at shoulders, but there are no splits, dents, initials or patches.

Overall condition is good for an item over 200 years old.
