Set 3 Georgian Sterling Silver & Glass Vanity Jars 1826

Description

This is a super set of 3 antique Georgian glass and hallmarked solid sterling silver vanity jars two of them measuring 3 1/4" (8 cms) long x 2 1/4" (5.5 cms) x 1 1/2" (3.5 cms) tall and the third measuring 6 1/2" (16.5 cms) x 1 1/2" (4 cms) x 1 1/2" (3.5 cms).

They have matching hallmarks for London 1826 with the silversmiths mark for Archibald Douglas and the lids alone weighs 162.3 grams.

All three jars are in super condition with no damage and the lids have lovely pierced and engraved work with no in inscriptions or monograms.

It's very unusual to find three matching jars of this age in such good condition.
