The stand is beautifully modeled with reeded swept legs terminating in detailed lion paw feet. There is some fretted decoration to the stand also. The kettle is attached to the stand with two pins on chains which when the back one is removed allows the kettle to be pivoted at the front for pouring.

The burner is also complete and in full working order still with the wick in tact. One of the knobs of the burner is stamped "PATENT No. 26988 / 09.
This is one of the nicest "plated" spirit kettles I have seen and is in first class condition.
