Antique Edwardian Solid Silver 'hunting Hip Flask' Novelty Vesta

This is an unusually-shaped solid sterling silver vesta.
 
Clearly hallmarked on the inside of the lid for London 1903, with the maker''s mark of Cornelius Joshua Vander and the retailer''s mark for the high end Gentleman''s retailer Rowlands & Frazer, 116 Regent Street London.
 
It is in the shape of a hunting hip flask with a tapered body and the round bayonet style cap. It has a suspension loop to the back to allow it to be hung from a watch chain and a push button sprung loaded hinged top which is in good working order and a striker to the base.
