A lovely, ornate pair of solid sterling silver grape scissors, clearly hallmarked on the blades for London 1904, with the maker''s mark of Francis Higgins 111.
Both the back and front of the handles are lavishly decorated with trailing vines and bunches of grapes. The silver is in excellent condition. The scissors are not gilded - any appearance of gilding in the photographs is simply a reflection of the camera flash.
