Fine Russian Engraved Silver Gilt Desert Spoon. 1868

Description

Fine quality Imperial Russian gilded silver desert spoon beautifully engraved throughout as can be seen in the pictures. The spoon is in very good condition with no wear. Unusual to be gilded on silver, most of the gilding is in tact.

The spoon bears the assay marks for Viktor Savinsky of Moscow with a date of 1868 and the makers mark for Fyodor Ivanov of Moscow (1843 - 1882)
