Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The silver bowl inset with a George III coin in the middle with a date of 1778. The whale bone handle retains it little silver end which is often missing.
There is a light inscription to the outside of the bowl which reads "won by R.N.Y.C. 1896.
Condition is pretty good for age with no damage just a few small dents to the bowl.
SIZE; 15" long overall
