Antique Scottish Silver Pierced Clover Dish 1900

This lovely solid sterling silver pierced dish was made in Edinburgh, hallmarked for 1900, by Hamilton and Inches of Princes Street. The hallmarks are clean and crisp on the base of the dish.
 
It is unusual in that it stands on three legs, each a fierce looking dragon with a single hoof.
 
The dish has been inscribed R A 1932.
 
It is 12cm at its widest point and 3.75cm in height, to the top of a dragon''s head. Silver weight is 75g.
 
The pierced work is intricate and pretty.
 
A lovely item which could perform many roles in the house.
