Georgian Mahogany Paw Feet Foot Stool C1800

Description

This well-carved GEORGIAN MAHOGANY FOOT STOOL dates from circa 1800.

It stands proudly on FOUR PAW FEET which have feathered detailing to the back and traces of PARCEL GILT to the knees. It has a reeded frieze above.

The timber is of good colour and patination. The STOOL has been fully reupholstered retaining the original horsehair stuffing, is sturdy and ready for use.
