Description

Sheffield 1922 solid silver very stylish set of sardine servers in the original case by famous maker John Round, and retailed by John Perry of Nottingham.

Sardine servers are sought after and hard to find, particularly in solid silver. Originally used for sardines, now also used for hors d'oeuvres servers and sometimes cutlery for a child as well.

This pair has beaded and shell stems with beautifully shaped blades outlined with bright cutting.

Weight-45 grams.

Size-4.5 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide.

A lovely unusual and functional set in very good condition.
