London 1911 Tortoise Shell and Solid Silver Hand Mirror.

Description

London 1911 very pretty tortoise shell and English hallmarked solid silver hand mirror, having silver pique inlay of urn holding vase of flowers, embedded into beautifully patterned tortoise shell.

The silver frame has a threaded design to edge, with floral embellishment, while the mirror glass is bevelled.

This is a very classic Edwardian design, a beautiful antique, as well as a functional one. Wonderful to use at the dressing table, or as a decorative accessory.

Size-11.25 inches long by 5.5 inches diameter.

No damage to either tortoise shell or silver.

With just light loss of silvering to edge of mirror glass.

A really lovely mirror in very good condition.
