A Rare Early Victorian Silver Whiskey Label.

A rare silver decanter label, with 'Whiskey' engraved to the front. The reeded border has rounded corners and shell motifs. The reverse is fully hallmarked. Supported on a belcher chain, this would make a nice piece for the collector or a usable and practical item. Whiskey spelled with an e, instead of the more usual Whisky, denotes the Irish spelling and would therefore indicate Irish Whiskey making the label rather rare.
