A Rare Art Deco Silver Mounted Biscuit Box.

A rare alternative to a biscuit barrel, this is a superb silver mounted biscuit box. This fine example comes from the reign of George V and has a goemetric cut glass body in the Art Deco style. The lid is hallmarked silver and to the is an ivory and silver finial. A wonderful item for the tea table or after- dinner crackers.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or dents to the silver and no chips or cracks to the glass.There are two very minor nicks to the cutting, barley noticeable and commensurate with age and use.
