Description

Birmingham 1853 Victorian English hallmarked solid silver and mother of pearl folding fruit knife, by Henry Atkin, very good maker.

Originally these were used to peel and cut fruit, and were kept in the pocket for convenience. Now, they make a very nice pocket knife.

Both sides of the case are covered with mother of pearl, with a silver cartouche for personalising if desired, while the blade is solid silver.

Size-5.25 inches long open, 3.00 inches long closed.

In very good condition.
