Superior Birmingham English Hallmarked Large Solid Silver Engraved Card or Cigarette Case.

1920 - 1940
Description

Birmingham 1946 heavy and excellent quality large curved solid silver cigarette case with striped engraving, push button tight closure, and original faded gilt interior and original elasticated retention straps.

Made by Joseph Gloster Ltd.

This case is curved to comfortably rest against the body, and has alternating line engraving on both front and back, with personalization to the front circular cartouche.

Size-4 inches by 3 inches by .75 inches high.

Weight-a very heavy 140 grams.

This is a fine and very handsome example with just one slightly flat area.

A great gift for the smoker or collector, which can also be used as a business card case or for other items such as a small purse to carry a credit card, money, or other personal items.

In very good antique condition and very heavy in weight, this is a great investment.
