Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Pierced Top Marriage Box 1905

Description

This is a superb antique Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver pierced top box measuring 5” (13 cms) across x 2 3/4" (7 cms) and 1” (2.5 cms) high.

The pierced decoration on the lid shows a wedding carriage leaving the church with wedding bells on either end.

It weighs 105.3 grams and is hallmarked for London 1905 with the silversmiths mark for William Comyns.

This is a lovely box and is in excellent condition.
