Antique Silver Snuff Box.

Description

Glorious cast silver snuff/table box; of serpentine form, decorated with an abundance of lovers, gladiators and putti. The lid/cover is set with a carnellion agate to the centre, and the interior is beautifully gilt. The quality is assured by the "dream team" of this particular original German manufacturer, and UK importer. Fully hallmarked. Superb.

Hanau. c.1900. Ludwig Neresheimer.

Imported into UK London. 1904. Berthold Mueller.
