Boxed Set of Silver Art Nouveau Buttons

A wonderful set of six, solid silver, Art Nouveau buttons in the original case. The buttons are in cast silver in the height of Art Nouveau design with the use of asymmetric whiplash curves and floral motifs. The buttons are all hallmarked for Birmingham, 1905, and are by the silversmith Henry Matthews. The buttons and the box are all original and in pristine condition, and represent a wonderful piece of English Art Nouveau design.
