Pr Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Owl Salt & Pepper Pots - 1860

Description

This is an absolutely superb pair of antique Victorian sterling silver salt and pepper pots in the style of owls each measuring 2 3/4" (7 cms) tall.

Both items are in superb condition and weigh 82.3 grams the pair.

They have super detail and are complete with their glass eyes - one owl with red and the other with blue.

They have pull off heads and both the heads and bodies have matching hallmarks for London 1860 with the silversmiths mark for George John Richards & Edward Charles Brown.

Very unusual to find a lovely pair with such an early hallmark and in such great condition.
