The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1870s.
Clearly hallmarked for London 1871 with the maker's mark of Chawner & Co (George William Adams).
The finial has a Kings pattern shape and the quilted design to the front. The reverse terminal is also highly decorated and features the engraved crest of a duck.

The spoon has been used and has small scratches to the bowl, commensurate with its age.
