Description

Birmingham 1924 solid silver and mother of pearl "Little Jack Horner" baby rattle by Adie and Lovekin, well known makers of novelty silver. The rattle is contained in the original fitted case.

Sweet heart shaped silver body with repousse design of Little Jack Horner pulling a plum out of his Christmas pie, on both sides.

Mother of pearl and silver handle, with a mother of pearl teething ring to top.

With just slight push to centre, this rattle is complete and original, with its two bells.

Size-4 inches long by 1.5 inches wide.

A very pretty and unusual rattle for the collector of novelty silver, or as a lovely baby gift.

This also would make an excellent Christmas gift due to the theme.

Rare to find with original case.
