M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Tapering cage-form design with multi-panel bevelled glass panes fitted rosettes to the divisions. The top formed as a royal crown or corona, with acanthus-leaf and scallop shell decoration. The base with Neptune term masks to the corners and terminating with a berry or pineapple-type finial .Exceptional quality casting and finely chased finish. The pane rosettes with a protruding 'spike' centre (2 deficient) ,and fitted with a hinged opening door for access to the lamps .

Complete with bronze 'S' hook with short chain and bronze ceiling-rose mount .
