Late 19th Century Silver Plate Vase Shaped Tea Urn

Description

A good quality late 19th century silver plate vase shaped tea urn.

The main body of the urn is of Classical vase shaped design.

The piece has scrolling foliage handles and is decorated with elaborate Classical engraving of floral and foliage designs.

The base is of quatreform design and is supported by four ball feet.

There is a makers mark of ES&S which is E Stacey & Sons who were based in Sheffield, UK in the mid-late 19th century.

This urn is in very good condition for age and can go straight into a home, ideal on a sideboard etc.
