Imposing Pair of 20th Century Bronze Japanese Table Lamps

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an attractive pair of Japanese table lamps in bronze dating early 20th Century. The lamps have dragon handles and a lovely patina. These are in excellent condition save for a small historic repair to one leg of one lamp, see photo 5, but its not really noticable and quite stable, not affecting the style or function of the piece.

The lamps have been refitted with bronzed bulb holders and rewired with modern three core braided cable in keeping with their age. The lamps measure 16" in height.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
