Description

A ring that is as beautiful as it is unusual. A glowing oval cut pink sapphire surrounded by eleven old cut diamonds. The close-backed sapphire is a lovely rich purplish hue, with distinct flashes of hot pink. Mounted nice and snug to the finger on a split-shoulder shank. An absolute delight.

Cut – Oval pink sapphire with old cut diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are H to I.

Clarity –The diamonds range from VS2 to SI2. It is not possible to gauge the clarity of the sapphire due to the nature of the setting.

Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.00 carat, with an estimated 0.55 carat of diamonds.

Circa – 1890.

Condition – A couple of the diamonds appear to have been replaced along the way, although all the stones are currently safe and secure.

Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The cluster is 13mm by 11.4mm and sits in diameter and sits 3.7mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
