Large Solid Silver Golf Trophy Cup

A large and very good quality solid silver Trophy Cup. The cup is in the neoclassical style and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 and with makers mark for Elkington and Co. The cup is engraved:

'Dunlop Challenge Cup Midland Professional Foursomes. Presented by Dunlop Rubber Company Limited. March 1920'

The reverse is engraved with the winners names between 1920 and 1931.

A very interesting and attractive piece of silver, with golfing interest, it is in lovely condition with the odd minor bruise and dent.
