Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Trinket Box - 1905 - Serenading Scene

Description

This is a super antique hallmarked sterling silver trinket box measuring 3 1/4” (8 cms) x 2 1/4” (6 cms) x 1 1/4" (3 cms) high and hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 with the silversmiths mark for Henry Matthews.

The condition is excellent with no damage and the lid has a scene of a man serenading two ladies.

There are no inscriptions or monograms and inside is lined in a dark green velvet which is all in good condition and the box weighs 105.4 grams.
