Description

A superb Victorian small silver teapot with capacity for four cups. This most attractive example is of classic half fluted design. The handle and knop are ebony. A lovely gift idea, both practical and decorative.

Condition :- Excellent, with no holes or splits. There is a small dimple under the front rim, commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Maker :- George Unite.

Date :- Chester 1899.

Spout tip to handle outer :- 23.5 cms.

Body width :- 14 cms. (widest point).

Height :- 11 cms. (highest point).

Date of Manufacture

Jeff Sims Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
