Set of Twelve Solid Silver Georgian Forks

19th century
Description

This is an excellent set of solid sterling silver forks. Clearly hallmarked for London 1801, during the reign of George III, with the maker's mark for William Eley & William Fearn.

The forks are 16.5cm in length and weigh a total of 523g.

There is slight damage to the finial of one fork, which I have highlighted in photographs 4 and 5.

The forks carry a crest just above the hallmarks and, other than the damage mentioned above, are in excellent condition.

Post and packaging is free within the UK via Royal Mail special delivery. Overseas buyers please e-mail for postage costs. Thank you.
