A Rare George II Silver Half Pint Tankard.

An extremely rare silver tankard dating from the early 18th Century. This superb piece is of baluster shape, with a raised foot. The capacity is around half a pint and the gauge of the silver is very good. There are script initials to the handle outer and an elongated 'kick' to the bottom of the handle

Silver from this period is extremely difficult to find and is always hotly pursued. A wonderful collector's piece.

Top diameter :- 6.5 cms.
