Antique Solid Silver WWI Pin Cushion - 1914

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an excellent solid sterling silver pin cushion.

Clearly hallmarked on the side for Chester 1914, with the maker's mark of Adie & Lovekin Ltd.

Shaped as a soldier's cap, the silver is in very good condition. There is a securing tack missing from the front (hence the small hole showing above the brim of the cap). The fabric looks to be the original.

Length: 4.5cm

Width at top: 4cm

A highly collectible and unusual item and a wonderful partner for my WW1 Red Cross pin cushion listed separately.
