The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Clearly hallmarked on the side for Chester 1914, with the maker's mark of Adie & Lovekin Ltd.
Shaped as a soldier's cap, the silver is in very good condition.
The fabric looks to be the original.
