This is a pretty and high quality basket, clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1909, with the maker''s mark of Joseph Rodgers & Sons.
The solid sterling silver basket is in excellent condition, standing evenly on four bun feet. The handle is square and has an empty cartouche across the top. The handle is firmly fitted.
The green glass liner is original and is also in excellent condition.

Possibly originally made for sweetmeats, this dish can have many uses around the home and would make an ideal present.
