A Victorian Hallmarked Sterling Silver Card Case by Sampson Mordan & Co

Description

This is a late Victorian hallmarked sterling silver card case. It was assayed in London in 1900/1 and made by Sampson Mordan & Co.

It is of simple form with the monogram 'JSR'. The interior is gilded and hallmarked.

The hinge works very well but the exterior of the case has surface marks and some dents. The interior is in great condition.

It is just over 8cm long and weighs 52g.
