George III Silver Sugar Basin

Description

A charming George III SILVER SUGAR BOWL in excellent condition.

The 'navette' shaped bowl stands on a conforming pedestal base with reeded swing handle. It is finely 'bright-cut' engraved to both bowl and base and has vacant cartouches to both sides. The interior is beautifully gilded and it is clearly hallmarked for George Burrows, London 1799.
