An 18th Century Spiral Candlestick

Description

An 18th century spiral candlestick on its original base. These were well designed with the carrying hook to prevent candle wax from dripping onto peoples hands and for hooking onto barrels. The side projection known as a traveller which moves the candle up and down and for getting the end pieces of the candle out.

It measures 19cm in height and diameter of base is 9.5cm
