Fine Solid Silver Cigarette Case Made by Robert Pringle & Sons, Birmingham 1906

1900 - 1920
Description

NJL 7564 Fine solid silver cigarette case made by Robert Pringle & Sons, Birmingham 1906. Hallmarked in the Gilt interior.

Curved to fit in a waistcoat pocket. Front is engraved with "Salisbury Plain, 1910. Lt. Col. Gilbertson Smith T.D. to Clr. Srgt. C. W. Stockman.".

It still has its original elastic cigarete holders, although they are in a fairly fragile state.

In good condition with just some minor dings to front and back.

  

This Vesta is a very nice item that would make a lovely gift or a good addition to a collection of early 20th Century silver.

Dimensions: 8.2cm x 6.5cm

Weight approximately: 69g
