Heavy Antique Silver Basting Spoon 1816

Wonderful, heavy, solid sterling silver basting spoon.
 
Clearly hallmarked on the back of the handle for London 1816,with the maker''s mark for John Kerschner.
 
With a fiddle and thread pattern, the finial has an engraved crest of a raised arm holding a dagger.
 
This spoon is in excellent condition.
