This is a pretty solid sterling silver sugar castor / shaker / dredger.
Clearly hallmarked on the side (with partial hallmark on the lid) for Birmingham 1939, with the maker''s mark for William Suckling Ltd
It features a pierced dome cover over a bulbous body, standing upon a stepped circular base. The lid fits tightly and the silver is in excellent condition.
