Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The beautifully shaped pierced design silver wings which are hinged so they open and close over the dish beneath.
They are continental in manufacture being marked with what I think is a French silver mark plus .925. They are also marked with the Edwardian British silver import mark.
A couple of very minor chips to the glass bases but otherwise these are in very good condition.
SIZE; 5" long by 3" wide. The overall height is 4"
