Description

Early Victorian, lidded, silver ewer/jug; of baluster form with wonderful decoration of the period. This jug is great for wine or water, and is full of all the typical style of the time; fine cast handle and finial (to the lid/cover,) and the most skilful engraved pattern by one of the period's master silversmiths. Lovely classical design; everything perfect!
