Fine & Rare Pair of Cased Silver Spades. Sheffield 1896

Description

FINE & RARE pair of Victorian cased Sterling silver spades or shovels by MAPPIN BROTHERS, SHEFFIELD. I'm not totally sure what these were for possibly either sugar or butter. They are a very nice shape and are in perfect condition.

The original case is marked ROSSITER & SONS, Ltd. MANUFACTURING GOLDSMITHS AND SILVERSMITHS WESTON-SUPER-MARE.

The shovels are 6" long.
