The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Clearly hallmarked for London 1917 with the maker's mark for Cohen & Charles.
It is completely plain in design. It has clearly been used and there are some minor dings to the body.
The lid is hinged in a screw fitting button mushroom style and fits tightly.
